Atlantic Barbecue (AB) was born of the radical belief that barbecue is all about elevating cultures and good eating. Originally founded in 2020 as a catering service by Orlando, FL native Michael Willis. It was a way of showcasing his singular style of southern craft barbecue and comfort food to Northern Virginia. Atlantic Barbecue has since grown into a barbecue culture brand that’s committed to creating experiences and bringing people together.

A Permanent Home in Northern Virginia
In 2024, Michael Willis established Atlantic Barbecue’s permanent location in Northern Virginia, operating Monday through Saturday with a food truck. This is a new chapter in Michael’s entrepreneurial journey, offering customers the opportunity to enjoy his barbecue on-site, via online ordering & delivery. From Jerk Smoked Spare Ribs to his well-known Brisket Double Smash Burger, the menu celebrates a mission to redefine craft barbecue, pay tribute to the southern traditions that inspire creativity and features dishes that blend bold flavors and cultural authenticity
